You can take the girl out of the city but ya can’t knock the hustle.
As if getting furloughed, going through a pandemic, and giving my mom more worry wasn’t enough, I decided to sprinkle a bit more challenge to my life. I packed my car and moved from New York City to Atlanta, GA. (Update: I have settled in Loganville-45 mins east of Atlanta.)
Once I arrived safely, my challenges began as a steady pour but became a messy spill of trying to balance working at a restaurant and doing my UX course (both FULL-TIME) I almost had a celebrity meltdown but like the true diamond that I am (Aries) What exactly is pressure? What matters most is how well you walk through the fire - Charles Bokowski. I of course switched to part- time and soared. Actually I struggled and stumbled a bit more but I finished, and I must say, there is a confidence and an assurance that I feel finishing this course that I don’t think I felt finishing my Fashion degree from SCAD.
Thanks for reading this. No my mom did not name me from the Flintstones.

Who was I before …
Before covid, I was an avid concert and music festival attendee and I always made sure to hit up the merchandise table. So ask me about my collection.
